In September my home sustained major
hail damage by a thunderstorm that
blew through El Paso. There was
massive widespread damage on the
east side of the City where I live.
Within days of the storm,
there were Insurance adjusters and
roofers everywhere. My neighborhood
was a buzz with guys pounding on
our door and leaving all kinds of
advertisements.
After meeting
several contractors my husband and
I decided to go with a group called
DRC Construction. We were a little
shell-shocked and apprehensive even
then. The man representing the company
met our adjuster at our home and
worked out the cost of repairs.
A couple of week's later DRC
personnel came out and completed
repairs to our roof and several
minor things. They were courteous,
hard working and complete. They

When the hail started hitting my
home I felt like everything outside
would be ruined. I could see my
car getting pounded through the
window and it almost made me cry.
It was Déjà Vue all over again only
worse. The storm in 2007 was damaging,
but not like this. After the storm
had passed, I went outside to see
what all was broken. It was a mess!
Within two days or so, roofing
companies were swarming the neighborhood
like before. The company that we
used last time was ok, but my husband
and I decided we would use someone
different this time around. We spoke
with a friend in the neighborhood
who informed us that they had just
contracted with DRC. We had not
heard of them before, but got the
number from our neighbor and checked
them out on the internet. Since
they seemed to appear large and
statewide, we felt like we would
just try them.
They gave
us an estimate that was higher than

our roof. We got an upgrade shingle
and didn't pay a dime extra. They
were really professional, worked
quickly and cleaned up They even
absorbed part of our deductable
which really helped out. It's good
to know that there or some hardworking
honest people still in business.
